Stayed here for two nights and would recommend a short stay here. The shower was the best I’ve ever had in Whitby too. I was onsite that day so it would have been so easy for me to get ice - it’s a short walk over to the local supermarket, but at tea time it’s a whole different story, and I’m not even sure I could have got ice at that time. Two ladies were in the office & it was clear they’d been told about my phone call asking for ice the night before as it was mentioned & made me feel very awkward. Its availability is just one of shepherd's purse's helpful qualities. The approach through the courtyard to the room was unpromising-unkempt and dirty.The room itself was very obviously damp. 200g .
