After 5 years, my model (OA3810 – not even listed on their website anymore) failed to open. This keeps the safe from both locking and sometimes unlocking, and this is what hitting the safe with a hammer actually loosens. FWIW, the engineering of the innards (and their apparent cheapness) has to do with making the lock mechanism impervious to hard actuation (of the handle, for example).
